JTFMax:
Serious allegations against an upcoming NFL star!
Buffalo Bills punter Matt Araiza, 22, is said to have been involved in the mass rape of a minor in 2021. A civil lawsuit was filed against the football talent on Friday. The player denies all allegations.
The result: Buffalo suspended Araiza on Saturday night. After the lawsuit became known, the punter left the preseason game with the Carolina Panthers (0:21) without being used and drove back to Buffalo.
After the sacking, bills boss Brandon Beane (46): "We think everyone should draw Matt's attention and let him take care of the situation. This is bigger than football. So let's step back and let him handle this. That is what matters most now."
And further: "The last 48 hours have been tough for many people. It was hard. We feel with all sides of this young woman what she had to go through. We very much regret the whole situation. But this is a legal case, and we don't know all the facts, making it difficult."
The allegations are shocking!
Araiza reportedly had a party at her home on October 17, 2021. Early in the morning, he allegedly pulled the then 17-year-old into the house where Araiza and at least three other men are said to have raped her for about an hour and a half.
Just disgusting: According to the lawsuit, nose, belly, and ear piercings were torn out during the rape. The young woman then bled from her vagina.
The alleged victim's side also makes allegations against the Bills! Accordingly, the NFL club is said to have tried to sweep the matter under the carpet.
Beane admits to having learned of the allegations at the end of July. The Bills boss: "At the time, we wanted to be level-headed and not judge him. You try to reconstruct a legal case, sometimes with few facts. This is not easy. We don't have the resources to gather all the facts. There are many versions. That's why it took us until today to make the decision."
