Lindsey Pearlman, a Television Star known for her roles in series like "Chicago Justice" and "Empire," was discovered dead in Los Angeles on Friday, days after she was reported missing, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
"On Friday morning around 8:30 a.m., her body was discovered near the entrance of Runyon Canyon Park in Hollywood, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department. "The L.A. County Coroner's Office has verified the individual to be Lindsey Erin Pearlman." She was 43. The reason for her death is pending a decision by the coroner.
No further information was supplied from the authorities.
Pearlman's other tv credits consist of roles in "Selena: The Series," "The Ms. Pat Program," "Sneaky Pete," "American Housewife," "Vicious," and "General Hospital."
Pearlman's family and friends had earlier reported her missing and requested the general public's assistance in finding her when she failed to return to her house on Feb. 13. She was last seen in Hollywood, a few miles from where her body was found, according to police.
A graduate of The Second City Conservatory, her website states Pearlman was active in the Chicago theater community before moving to California to pursue extra on-camera work.
