Police officers believe Anne Heche might have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol when she slammed into a garage and a house, sparking a massive blaze.
LAPD tells Press that authorities got a warrant to draw Anne's blood. The results are unknown yet, but authorities think she was intoxicated at the time of Friday's crash. It may take weeks for the blood test results.
At the minimum, the LAPD will refer the case to the L.A. City Attorney for possible hit-and-run charges. As was reported, after knocking into a garage, she removed and drove her car into a neighboring house. She may have likewise struck other objects before coming to a stop.
Anne suffered severe burns because of the fire and remained hospitalized. Her clothing was charred as she was removed from the accident on a stretcher.
As reported, Ann was on a podcast previously in the week where she drank vodka and wine and appeared intoxicated.
