One day, she says, she waited on an older gentleman in a fancy car at the drive-in. "He told me I was too beautiful to work there," she says. The senior asked her if she wanted to get in and drive away with him - but Melanie Collett declined, she says. But the immoral offer had become a running gag for her and her former co-workers.
