THE POLICE, THEIR FRIEND, AND SEX AID!

A scandal involving a small police station in the US state of Tennessee. Eight officers at the La Vergne station have been suspended for having sex with one another, including while on duty. Local media report on this and refer to an internal investigation.

The woman and the seven men sent each other nude pictures and celebrated – in different occupations – sex parties in the pool, in hotel rooms, and on a boat. There was also (oral) intercourse in the police building and the in-house gym. The incidents emerged after the city's mayor got wind of the matter and launched an investigation.

Seneca Shields is said to have had sex with the officer at the police station.

In the end, there were six layoffs, including officer Maegan Hall. She had only been on duty since 2021. Two of the eight suspects only must clear their lockers in the meantime. It is unknown when and how they will be reintegrated into police work.

In the descriptions of colleagues, Maegan Hall comes off remarkably badly. She lives in an open marriage, has alcohol problems, and drives drunk patrol cars. At a family celebration with children, she took off her top and played Russian roulette with her gun while on duty.

Lewis Powell, in a hearing, named other colleagues who had sexual intercourse with Maegan Hall.

Whether the allegations are true or the men conspired to portray their former colleague as a driving force cannot be verified.

La Vergne Mayor Jason Cole said, "This was unacceptable. Our top priority will be to restore public confidence.”

Police Chief Chip Davis spoke of a "difficult situation." However, he wanted to clarify that "the actions of a few do not represent this department as a whole." There is still enough staff to ensure security in the city of 35,000.
